What does the annual report mean?

The annual report is a periodical published once a year.

Statements include reports describing the company's operating conditions, assets, liabilities and income. The long annual report is called 10-K, in which the financial information is more detailed and can be obtained from the company secretariat. There are two versions of the annual report of listed companies, one is the summary of the annual report disclosed in the public media, and the other is the detailed version disclosed on the website of the exchange.

The annual report, that is, the annual report, is a report compiled by enterprises or individual industrial and commercial households after the end of each fiscal year, which comprehensively reflects the operating status, financial status and cash flow of that year. It is not only a summary of the company's own operating results in the past year, but also an important way to show its operating strength and financial health to shareholders, creditors, government regulatory agencies and other relevant stakeholders.

The annual report mainly includes the following parts.

1. Balance sheet: reflects the assets, liabilities and owners' equity of the enterprise at the end of the reporting period, and reflects the financial status of the enterprise.

2. Income statement: reflecting the operating results of the enterprise in the reporting period, such as income, cost, expenses and profits, and revealing the profitability of the enterprise.

3. Cash flow statement: it reflects the cash inflow and outflow of the enterprise during the reporting period and provides information on the cash liquidity of the enterprise.

4. Notes: including the explanation of the basis for preparing financial statements, accounting policies and important accounting estimates, as well as the detailed explanation of the sub-items in the middle of the statements.

5. Financial statements: provide supplementary information on the production and operation status, profit realization and distribution of enterprises.
