The qualified rate of high school and junior high school teachers is 100%, which is the largest complete middle school in Qilin District. In 2000, it was rated as a second-class and first-class complete middle school by Yunnan Provincial Education Commission.

At the beginning of the school, there were 30 classes in the planned school 1500, including 600 students in senior high school 12 class and 900 students in junior high school 18 class. When 1986 was founded, there were 1 1 faculty, which enrolled 2 junior middle schools and more than 80 students.
High school enrollment 1987, 2 classes, 1 10 students. 1990 took the lead in implementing the "May 4th" educational system experiment in the whole province. 1998, the land was withdrawn to set up a city, and the school was renamed Qilin District No.7 Middle School. In 2005, the school resumed the "June 3rd" academic system.

The overall work of the school is comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable. 1999 was awarded "Advanced Unit of Teaching and Scientific Research" by Qujing Municipal Education Commission. In 200 1 year, it was determined by the Municipal Education Bureau as "Qujing City Middle School Key Teacher Training Base".
200 1 was rated as "Advanced School of Health Education" by Yunnan Province, and 200 1 was rated as "Advanced Unit of Moral Education" by the Provincial Department of Education, and was awarded the title of "Civilized School" in Yunnan Province in the same year.
