In 2004, Haidian District Center for Disease Control and Prevention passed nine professional testing items: food hygiene, environmental hygiene, disinfection and hygiene, occupational hygiene, school hygiene, radiation protection, infectious diseases, endemic disease prevention and health monitoring. In 2004, it obtained the qualification of occupational hazard evaluation, occupational health examination and occupational hazard factor detection and evaluation of construction projects. In 2007, it completed the important certification from Grade C to Grade B for occupational hazard assessment of construction projects, and became the first district-level CDC in Beijing to obtain Grade B qualification for occupational hazard assessment of construction projects. In 2009, it was listed as one of the first batch of influenza A H 1N 1 network laboratories in the city. In 2009, it was included in the national influenza network laboratory. By the end of 2009, the center had 366 testing qualifications, ranking first in Beijing 18 districts and counties, with strong comprehensive testing capabilities.
