Meditate to soothe nerves

Today, I read teacher Xin Li's notes about children's health, and he mentioned a simple method of meditation to soothe the nerves. For those of us who are busy with work and easily distracted by long-term fatigue, it can play a role in calming the nerves and gathering qi. When we are quiet, we can concentrate more on things, and we can easily observe the key points and details in life. This is a good way to train our consciousness and keep our body and mind healthy.

This method is to sit still for five minutes and feel your physical state. The method is simple. The back is naturally straight and can be scattered. You can also sit naturally. Don't insist on posture, just relax and be comfortable.

What do you do when you sit? The easiest way is to observe yourself. Are you relaxed? What kind of state is the mood? Will there be many ideas in your mind? We are an observer, we don't follow, we don't judge, we don't have to consider right and wrong, good and bad. You'll know when you hear the sound outside. Don't pay special attention. No matter how your body feels, you just need to know. Maybe there will be a lot of distractions in my mind, or my mood will fluctuate, which is normal. Everyone is like this, and this is our usual state. It's just that we're quiet now, and it becomes obvious. We don't need to control it. These are the noises in our hearts, and we just need to know.

When we feel nervous, we can make some adjustments to make ourselves comfortable and don't sit too hard. You can always sit like this as long as you have three or five minutes at ordinary times. This is to cultivate our consciousness and can play a role in absorbing the spirit.

When we meditate, we will know how our bodies feel and the sounds around us. You can even feel the temperature and smell of the room. We can observe all kinds of thoughts in our minds. Everything we observe is actually our usual physical state. It's just that sometimes we are guided by physical feelings, sometimes by emotions, and sometimes by thoughts. But when we are relatively quiet, these parts will be magnified and noticed by us.

Meditation is like we are at a crossroads. There are many cars and people passing by. But we didn't concentrate on seeing anything, didn't follow him, and didn't evaluate the people in this car. I just stood there relaxed, which is the state of meditation.

For beginners, don't force yourself to sit for a long time, several times and only for five minutes at a time. He will not only help us regain our energy, but also automatically integrate our body and mind and help us regain our balance. Slowly, our concentration, consciousness and judgment will also improve, and we are less likely to be disturbed by the outside world. In this way, when we need to make a choice, we can quickly find what we want in a pile of choices, and it is easier to find the answer to life.

If we can live by intuition, then we will be closer to our hearts, feel more satisfied, live simpler, and everything will form a virtuous circle.

There are two points to pay attention to when meditating. The first is not to use force. Don't overwork yourself physically or mentally, and try to stay relaxed. The second is that there is no expectation. When we let go of our expectations, our thought-centered program will melt away, our usually fast-moving thinking program will slowly slow down, and our inherent patterns will change. Our mood will gradually return to calm. Our inner vitality will rise. We will be motivated to do more things.
