The Radio Management Committee of the Ministry of Information Industry of China stipulates that the radio frequency transmission power of a single wireless access point device shall not exceed 100mW, the radio frequency transmission power of wireless access point devices sold in the market is about 60~70mW, the transmission power of indoor wireless AP antenna in REDWAVE is less than 100mW, and the transmission power of mobile phone is about 600 MW ~ 1 watt. Hand-held walkie-talkies are as high as 3 ~ 5 watts, and wireless networks are not used in direct contact with human bodies like mobile phones, so compared with mobile phones, wireless networks (WLAN) have little impact on human health.
The test shows that the radiation generated by the commonly used IEEE 802. 1 1b wireless equipment at a distance of 2 inches is about 2 microwatts/cm2, and the radiation of IEEE 802. 1 1000 microwatts/cm2 is even smaller, while the relevant safety radiation limit in FCC is1cm2.
In short, as long as the wireless network equipment meets the international standards and actually works within the safe transmission power range specified by FCC, it will not affect human health.
