Healthy diet before pregnancy

For the health of you and your future baby, the following points should be kept in mind.

Zinc and folic acid are essential nutrients.

Antioxidants such as zinc and folic acid are essential nutrients for the normal operation of sperm. Lean beef, lean meat, black rice, chicken legs or wings are all good sources of zinc. Green leafy vegetables such as broccoli and rape, as well as soybeans, durian, pork liver and Coprinus comatus are all rich in folic acid. Take at least 60 mg of vitamin C every day. If you smoke, you need 100 mg. Remember to quit smoking. Secondhand smoke is not good for your wife!

Reduce alcohol consumption

Excessive drinking will reduce sperm quality and affect fertility. The effect of moderate drinking on male fertility is not clear, but for the sake of baby's health, try to avoid it!

Drink coffee in moderation

At present, there is no study showing that drinking coffee before pregnancy is harmful to fertility. Even studies have shown that coffee can improve sperm motility and antioxidant level. But there is no clear data to show that drinking more coffee is easy to make a wife pregnant. So, if you like coffee, you can continue to enjoy it, but also in moderation!
