What does scale MSSMHS mean?

Middle school students' mental health scale

The scale was compiled by Professor Wang Jisheng, a famous psychologist in China, and can be used to evaluate the mental health of middle school students.

The scale has 10 sub-scale, which tests: (1) obsessive-compulsive symptoms, such as fear of exams and repeated revision of homework; (2) paranoia, such as paranoia that others have ulterior motives and improper evaluation; (3) Hostility, such as bad temper, often quarreling with others and throwing things and other impulsive behaviors; (4) interpersonal relationships are tense and sensitive, such as lack of friendliness and satisfaction in interpersonal relationships, or feeling that understanding and support cannot be obtained in interpersonal relationships; (5) Depression, such as losing confidence and interest in the future; (6) Anxiety, such as nervousness, uneasiness and irritability; (7) Great pressure of study, such as feeling heavy burden of study, weariness of study, fear of exams, etc. (8) maladjustment, such as not adapting to school life; (9) Emotional imbalance, such as interest in learning, emotional level of teachers and classmates; (10) Psychological imbalance. If you feel that you have been treated unfairly, you will often be unconvinced. The scale has 60 items. Candidates evaluate themselves on the real situation of their recent psychological state.
