China's trip to Tibet was launched in Lhasa on August 15 with the theme of "facing the grassroots, serving the countryside and benefiting the people". Wang Guoqiang, Vice Minister of Health and Director of state administration of traditional chinese medicine, Ma Jianzhong, Deputy Director of state administration of traditional chinese medicine, Zhou Chunlai, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Autonomous Region, Deji, Vice Chairman of the Autonomous Region, and Liu Qinghui, Vice Chairman of the Autonomous Region attended the launching ceremony.

At the launching ceremony, the Health Department of the Autonomous Region announced that it had awarded the honorary title of "Famous Tibetan Medicine in Tibet" to Qiangba Chilie and others 16, and Wang Guoqiang and Deji presented honorary certificates to famous Tibetan medicine representatives. State administration of traditional chinese medicine donated off-road vehicles to the Health Department of Tibet (Tibetan Medicine Administration) and medical equipment to medical institutions in Tibet.
In his speech, Deji hoped that Tibetan medicine industry would seize the good strategic opportunity of Tibetan medicine development, adhere to the principle of paying equal attention to Tibetan medicine and western medicine, deepen reform, widely publicize popular science knowledge of Tibetan medicine, create a good public opinion atmosphere and social environment for the development of Tibetan medicine, widely disseminate knowledge of Tibetan medicine on disease prevention and treatment, give full play to its characteristics and advantages, and make greater contributions to the health of farmers and herdsmen.
The event will be held in 73 counties of 7 cities in Tibet, distributing tens of thousands of books and materials on popular science knowledge of Tibetan medicine to the people, organizing free clinics for Tibetan medical experts, holding a "contest on popular science knowledge of Tibetan medicine" from August 29th to 3rd1day, holding two or three lectures on popular science of Tibetan medicine in September, and holding an exchange meeting on the experience of national famous and old Chinese medicine expert tutors and heirs.
At the same time, various related trainings such as Tibetan medicine scientific research management training, Tibetan medicine appropriate technology promotion training in agricultural and pastoral areas, and Tibetan medicine nursing knowledge training were held, and mainstream media were invited to fully display and publicize Tibetan medicine popular science knowledge and achievements.
