Is olive oil healthier than ordinary soybean oil?

Everyone knows that olive oil is much more expensive than ordinary soybean oil, and it is also an oil that has attracted much attention and is considered to be more beneficial to the body.

Olive oil is an oil extracted from olive fruit, which is called liquid gold. Rich in the highest quality fat, it can maintain people's health. Some countries in Europe and America have long included it in the Pharmacopoeia. Moreover, in Crete, Greece, the best producing area of olive oil, people here are at the forefront of the world because of their long-term consumption of olive oil and healthy diet.

For the purpose of eating, the edible oil we use every day can be divided into three categories. The first one is the representative of polyunsaturated fatty acids, soybean oil is one of them, and their proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids is 60~%80%. The second type is monounsaturated fatty acid type, and the important representatives are olive oil and tea seed oil. The third is balanced edible oil, which stands for peanut oil and so on.

Among them, olive oil is called monounsaturated fatty acid type, mainly because its monounsaturated fatty acid ratio is as high as 70% or more. This substance is also called oleic acid. Oleic acid can control our blood lipids, which can not only reduce bad cholesterol in the blood, but also increase good cholesterol.

And in use, the heat resistance of olive oil is better than that of soybean oil. Soybean oil has no such effect on the body. Eating too much soybean oil will increase blood lipid.

In addition to diet therapy, olive oil can also protect skin and hair. Whether olive oil is directly used as base oil or as raw material for making soap, high quality skin care products can be obtained. Acting on the skin can not only improve the dryness and cracking of the skin, but also reduce the generation of wrinkles and make the skin full of elasticity.

Because olive oil is particularly well absorbed on the skin, soybean oil is absolutely not. In addition, olive oil can also be applied to the hair, so that the damaged part of the hair can be moisturized and healthy, and it has powerful repair and moisturizing functions.
