Can bacterial vaginitis heal itself?
Bacterial vaginitis can heal itself. In normal healthy women, vagina has a natural defense function against the invasion of pathogens due to the characteristics of anatomical tissues. When the natural defense function of vagina is destroyed, pathogens are easy to invade and vaginal inflammation occurs. Most of them are bacterial vaginitis caused by trichomonal vaginitis, fungal vaginitis or other miscellaneous bacteria. If it is mild vaginitis, it can heal itself, but trichomonal vaginitis or fungal vaginitis needs treatment.
