I. Being politically qualified and taking a firm stand
The Civil Service Law clearly stipulates that "the civil service system should adhere to the basic line of the primary stage of socialism under the guidance of Marxism–Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents". This requires civil servants to have a high ideological and political quality, firmly grasp the correct direction of progress in the changing international situation, and unswervingly take the road of Socialism with Chinese characteristics. Only by solving the problem of political direction can we stand tall, see far and walk steadily. Theoretical maturity is the basis of political maturity, and political sobriety comes from theoretical firmness. A firm political stance requires us to consciously study the country's theory, line, principles and policies in our daily life, maintain a high degree of consistency with the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, and have strong organization and principle;
Second, study hard.
As national civil servants, staff should not only firmly establish the consciousness of serving the people, but also improve the level of serving the people. How to improve the service level, the most fundamental thing is to ask us to study hard, be good at learning and improve our comprehensive quality in an all-round way. On the other hand, today's society is an explosion of knowledge, and science and technology are developing with each passing day. Civil servants will certainly encounter all kinds of new situations and problems in their daily work, which requires us to keep learning and keep pace with the times. Diligence and studiousness require us to establish the concept of lifelong learning, learn from books, colleagues, people and practice, and improve our comprehensive quality in an all-round way, so as to better serve the people.
Third, care for and serve the people.
Serving the people wholeheartedly is the fundamental purpose of our party. All the leading collectives of the production party in China regard safeguarding people's interests as the value standard and evaluation standard to measure the success or failure of the work and construction of the party and the country in various fields. The new central collective leadership keeps pace with the times and regards building a service-oriented government as the fundamental goal of administrative system reform. The key to building a service-oriented government lies in the civil servants themselves. As a civil servant, we should firmly establish four senses: first, strengthen the service concept and realize the role change from "manager" to "server"; The second is to correct the service attitude and do practical things and do good things for the people sincerely; Third, improve the service level and strengthen self-cultivation; Fourth, pay attention to the actual effect of service, and take the people's "satisfaction and dissatisfaction" and "happiness and unhappiness" as the criteria for judging our work gains and losses.
Fourth, indifferent to fame and fortune, honest and clean.
Power is a double-edged sword. It can not only benefit the people, but also benefit individuals. When civil servants exercise state power on behalf of the people, they must bear in mind that the power in their hands comes from the people and should be used by the people, not as a tool for personal gain. In the usual work, we should strictly abide by the laws and regulations of the state and the rules and regulations of the unit, and strengthen our self-cultivation. "We must always cultivate the virtue of politics, always think about the harm of greed, and always be self-disciplined." On the other hand, we should constantly broaden the channels of supervision and give full play to the supervisory role of various supervisory media. As civil servants, we should consciously put ourselves under the supervision of various supervision media, listen to the voices of the masses, accept their criticisms, adopt their opinions, and let our power run in the sun. Only by adhering to the organic combination of self-discipline and heteronomy can we constantly overcome our own limitations and improve ourselves.
5. Dare to try and innovate.
Innovation is the soul of a nation's progress and an inexhaustible motive force for a country's prosperity. At present, China is in the accelerated period of social transformation, and the economic system, social structure, interest pattern and ideas are undergoing profound changes. This profound social change has brought great vitality to China's economic and social development, and at the same time, it will inevitably bring such contradictions and problems, and gradually become the shackles that restrict China's socialist modernization. How to clear all kinds of obstacles on the way forward requires us to emancipate our minds, seek truth from facts, dare to break the shackles of subjective prejudice and customary forces, grasp new situations, find new problems, seek new methods, take new measures and achieve new leaps.
