How to make vocational high school students confident?

Rawls, an American philosopher in Wu Hongyan, Shuangfeng Vocational School, once said: The so-called self-confidence means that we can find a supporting force from our own hearts, which is enough to face all kinds of blows from life or death, and we can also control it well. The difference between winners and losers is that winners always dominate and control their lives with the most positive thinking, the most optimistic spirit and the most brilliant experience. What most people think is impossible, but you are willing to challenge. This is the road to success. It is a common phenomenon that students in vocational schools have a heavy sense of inferiority. One is the continuation of bad learning psychology in junior high school, and the other is the influence of incorrect public opinion. Years of work as a class teacher in vocational high schools have made me really feel that students can't learn well if they don't understand happiness, and they can't make progress if they don't eliminate their inferiority complex. For this reason, I have made a lot of efforts and think that we must do the following three things well: 1, remove students' psychological shadow, get rid of inferiority complex (1), love students and make them feel warm. Does not mean that students in vocational schools do not need love. In order to get people's attention and recognition, they tried but failed. They also want to make progress, but they don't have enough confidence. Most class teachers in our vocational school face these students, so as class teachers, we should first accept them from the heart, treat them as our own children, and love them. Standing on the podium, I always think that there are not some "bad children" and "poor students" in front of me, but future factory directors, engineers and skilled workers ..., so I think they are lovely and magical, and I also feel a heavy responsibility, so I often try my best to help them and care for them, such as providing material help to students from poor families and making up lessons for students with poor academic performance. Let the students feel that the teacher has not given up on them, and they are still the treasures in the teacher's hands. B, actively encourage and overcome negative mentality. Every time I have a new class, I have to do a class survey. The survey results show that students' academic performance is very poor. Some of them give up on themselves because their parents' or teachers' rude language hurts their self-esteem. Some are withdrawn because of family discord or single parents. Some of them are addicted to the internet and don't make progress. Some of them are not focused on their studies. However, these students are not stupid. Many students like to do things and have strong hands-on ability. As a class teacher, we should first know the students' situation like the back of our hand, actively guide students to analyze and study themselves realistically, let students know their own advantages and disadvantages, their hobbies, and distinguish what to do, what not to do, what to do immediately and what to do. Students should learn to think about their past, examine their present and design their future. Secondly, we should overcome students' inferiority complex, get out of the shadow of "no hope of going to vocational high school" and awaken the self-confidence and self-esteem that have been sleeping for a long time. I often tell students that when I enter the gate of a vocational middle school, I stand on the same starting line. In my eyes, everyone is a good student. As long as everyone has confidence and determination, they will certainly become useful talents in society. I told them, "Since God has given talent, let it work!" With the example of celebrities, "everyone is talented, no one is all-rounder, and everyone can foster strengths and avoid weaknesses and achieve something"; I used the outstanding achievements of previous graduates in all fronts of society to tell them that talents are not only qualified to be admitted to key high schools and universities, but also those who have made contributions to society through their own creation and labor, and they can also become talents in vocational middle schools. 2. Cultivate students to establish a correct outlook on life. In vocational schools, it is important for students to learn knowledge. People live in a complex social environment, and the things they experience change rapidly. They will always encounter all kinds of contradictions, setbacks and conflicts, which will bring troubles and troubles to people. At this time, it is necessary to give full play to the individual's initiative, improve the level of mental health through self-regulation, and master the initiative to fight against various pathogenic factors. As a vocational high school student, learning knowledge is more important, learning skills are more important, and learning to be a person is the most important. I think the head teacher's main job is to help students learn to be human and guide them to establish a correct outlook on life. So at the weekly class meeting, I will tell them some life experiences, social etiquette, celebrity stories and so on. And correct some of your bad habits and behaviors at any time. Cultivate students to know the big picture, take care of the overall situation, give up family and love everyone for the public interest and social harmony, do not care about personal gains and losses, and do not fall into "self-centeredness"; Cultivate students' self-motivation and improve their sense of competition; Cultivate students to love their majors, schools and the motherland, and make up their minds to work hard to realize the value of life. In fact, establishing a correct outlook on life is also a belief of people. Only people with firm beliefs have the confidence to face setbacks, overcome difficulties with tenacious will, not be troubled by contradictions, not give in to setbacks and not worry about conflicts. 3. Strengthening students' professional ideological education The narrow view of talents in people's minds for a long time has neglected vocational school students and dampened their self-confidence. Therefore, in order to make students love their major and learn it well with confidence, we must carry out professional ideological education for them. First of all, we should explain to students the importance of vocational education in rejuvenating the country through science and education, revitalizing the economy and improving the quality of the whole people, so that students can get out of the misunderstanding and understand that vocational high schools and ordinary high schools are two different types of schools with the same educational level. Ordinary high schools emphasize the accumulation of cultural knowledge, while vocational high school students focus on the cultivation of practical operation theory and ability, and cultivate skilled talents needed by the country, which is as promising as studying in vocational high schools. Thirdly, it is necessary to combine the current situation of talent demand in the market with the prospects and advantages of professional development, so that students can understand and be familiar with the general situation of their majors and the specifications of talent demand as soon as possible, so as to adjust their professional understanding.
