Mental health education is the theme of modern education and preschool education. Preschool children aged 3-6 are still in the critical period of psychological growth and development. They have great development potential and plasticity. Because they are extremely immature psychologically, their self-regulation level is low, and their self-awareness is still in the primary stage, they are easy to form unhealthy psychology due to the influence of adverse factors such as the environment. The mental health of preschool children will have a far-reaching and sometimes irreversible impact on their cognition, emotion, personality, moral development and social adaptation. Kindergarten education is the basic stage of national quality education. It is not only to prepare for the study and life in primary school, but also to lay a good psychological and personality quality foundation for their lifelong development and success. It is in this sense that UNESCO and the International Psychological Association put forward the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Declaration on Children's Psychological Rights and Interests and other documents to protect children's mental health. Put the maintenance of children's mental health in an extremely important position. With the development and change of modern society, the future society puts forward higher requirements for people's quality. Everyone is required to have the spirit of facing the reality, not being afraid of difficulties, pioneering and enterprising, the consciousness and responsibility of caring for others, family, society and nature, the ability of cooperation and communication and the spirit of innovation, and the personality quality of independence, self-confidence and self-improvement. This means that the cross-century generation should not only have good intellectual quality, but also have healthy psychology.
There are quite common problems among children, such as poor independence, psychological fragility, fear of hardship, willfulness, indifference to others, lack of creativity, lack of awareness and ability of cooperation and communication, and poor self-control ability. Many children also have various psychological and behavioral deviations. Such as withdrawn, aggressive behavior, timidity, hyperactivity, emotional disorder, etc. If this situation is not taken seriously, it will inevitably affect the quality of a generation. Therefore, attaching importance to and strengthening children's mental health education is an extremely important and unavoidable topic in children's education reform.
