Can nurse registration be exempted from inspection?

Nurses' practice registration must undergo a physical examination. When applying for nurse practice registration, the medical institution designated by the health administrative department of the people's government of a province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government must provide the applicant's medical certificate within 6 months. The requirements and health standards for nurse registration are as follows:

According to Article 5 of the Measures for the Administration of Nurse Practice Registration, the conditions for nurse practice registration are as follows:

(1) Having full capacity for civil conduct;

(2) Having completed ordinary full-time courses such as nursing and midwifery for more than 3 years and courses prescribed by the Ministry of Health in secondary vocational schools and institutions of higher learning, including completing clinical nursing practice for more than 8 months in teaching and general hospitals, and obtaining corresponding academic certificates;

(3) Having passed the nurse qualification examination organized by the Ministry of Health;

(4) meeting the prescribed health standards.

According to Article 6 of the Measures for the Administration of Nurse Practice Registration, the health standard requirements for nurse practice registration are as follows:

(a) No history of mental illness;

(two) no color blindness, color weakness, binaural hearing impairment;

(three) no disease, disability or dysfunction that affects the performance of nursing duties.
