Dogs don't use words to express what she has done, but use expressions, body movements and a series of behaviors to express her feelings and lesions. Sometimes it is not the improper care of the owner that causes the dog to get sick. It is more because the dog dealer who sells dogs dyes, shaves, washes white hair and vaccinates the dog on time in order to fake ordinary puppies into valuable breeds. It is extremely unfavorable to the physical and mental health of puppies. Then these dogs are easily infected with some diseases after such complicated human abuse. Then Bian Xiao teaches parents how to observe whether dogs are healthy.
Naive and lively, carefree is the nature of small animals. Being able to eat and play doesn't mean you're not sick. In addition, many diseases have a certain incubation period. When you find a puppy with obvious symptoms, it is often very serious. Therefore, once the puppy is found to be wrong, it is necessary to seek medical advice immediately and vaccinate it in a healthy condition to ensure its life safety. In order to gain time and opportunity for treatment, please pay attention to the following six symptoms:
Alarm 1: lack of energy, weak body, slow movement, slight vibration of tail or even immobility and drooping; Sad face, no vitality.
Alert 2: dry nose and runny nose. This is a symptom of a fever. However, when dogs sleep, their noses will be dry, which is normal, so don't worry.
Warning 3: Abnormal defecation, diarrhea and constipation. Feces are sometimes as thin as water and sometimes as hard as stone. Healthy puppies defecate about twice a day. The color of stool varies with food, generally black or yellowish brown, and the hardness should be moderate.
Alert 4: Loss of appetite or rapid loss of appetite. If the puppy eats dirty things or indigestible foreign bodies, its stomach function will be abnormal and it will refuse to eat or vomit.
Alert 5: Eyes are afraid of light, have gum, and even conjunctival congestion.
Alert 6: Body temperature rises. The temperature of healthy puppies is about 38.5℃, and the temperature of puppies is slightly higher. Generally speaking, the dog's body temperature is low in the morning and high at noon to night, about 0.5℃. Clamp the thermometer we use at the root of the puppy's thigh for 5 minutes. It is abnormal that the temperature is higher than 39℃.
In addition, if there are abnormal phenomena such as coughing, dysuria, itchy ears, eating foreign objects indiscriminately, rubbing your ass on the ground, etc. This is also a reflection of the disease and must not be ignored or delayed.
When encountering the above problems, it is best to take the dog to the pet hospital for infectious disease detection. Many puppies are susceptible to infectious diseases without vaccination.
