1. What kind of bed is healthier?
It turns out! Hard bed ≠ Hard bed, smooth bed
This is because many patients have a misunderstanding that hard beds refer to hard beds and smooth beds.
In fact, the so-called "hard bed" is relative to the soft bed used by Europeans and Americans.
Hard beds are not hard beds, let alone smooth beds. It must be covered with many mattresses.
How to grasp the "hardness" of hard bed
As we mentioned earlier, a hard bed refers to a bed with several mattresses on it, but how to grasp the hardness of a hard bed?
This hardness measurement may be difficult to master, but there is actually a simple way to choose a mattress:
Hardness: Remember 3: 1.
Remember a principle: the mattress should not be too hard and deformed, nor too soft and deformed.
When choosing a mattress, you may wish to follow the principle of 3∶ 1 For a mattress with a thickness of 3 cm, it is appropriate to sink it by hand 1 cm. The same is true for mattresses with a thickness of 10 cm, with a slight depression of 3 cm, and so on.
Fit: measured by hand when lying flat.
Lie flat on the mattress with your hands bent from neck, waist, buttocks to thighs to see if there are any gaps; Turn aside again and try it in the same way. If the hand can be easily inserted into the gap, it means that the bed is too hard.
If the palm is close to the gap, it proves that this mattress is very consistent with the natural curves of neck, back, waist, buttocks and legs when people sleep.
Thickness: spring mattress 12 ~ 18cm
The ideal thickness of spring mattress is 12 ~ 18 cm. When the spring is deformed due to quality problems, it will affect the supporting force and should be replaced in time.
The bigger the mattress, the thicker the better, but this is related to its supporting force, especially the spring mattress. If the length of the spring is constant and the bottom pad is thickened, it will not get good supporting force.
Why do you sleep on a hard bed?
The normal physiological structure of human spine has four physiological curvatures, namely, cervical curvature, thoracic curvature, lumbar curvature and sacral curvature. The cervical and lumbar vertebrae bend forward, and the thoracic and sacral vertebrae bend backward.
If the mattress is too soft, it will cause the bed surface to sink and cannot provide proper spinal support; If the mattress is too hard, it will support the shoulders and hips too much, and it will also cause the spine to deform.
The middle soft bed ("hard bed") can better adapt to the curve of human body, and the spine is the least twisted.
2. Does your mattress suit you?
You can choose freely according to your own feelings. Please refer to the following standards for details:
First, sleeping in bed does not affect turning over at night;
Second, getting up in the morning will not be uncomfortable because the mattress is too soft;
Third, after getting up, the waist will not feel uncomfortable symptoms such as stiffness and pain.
In fact, many people think that a hard bed is a hard bed or a smooth bed. Of course, it is not possible to sleep directly on a hard bed. Do people who often have backache now know how to relieve backache? Choosing a suitable bed will improve people's sleep. Some people may not like to sleep on a hard bed. You can add an extra layer of bedding, but not too much.
