Give students a physical examination every year and establish student health records. Local education administrative departments and schools should choose medical and health institutions that meet the relevant requirements to undertake the physical examination of students.
(2) Physical examination items
1. Consultation: past medical history, recent fever, cough history or other obvious discomfort symptoms.
2. Physical examination items: heart, lung, liver, spleen and blood pressure.
3. Ophthalmic examination items: naked eye hyperopia, trachoma and acute infectious conjunctivitis.
4. Oral examination: teeth and periodontal tissue.
5. Surgical examination items: head, neck, spine, limbs, skin and lymph nodes.
6. Morphological indicators: height and weight.
7. Liver function: alanine aminotransferase, bilirubin.
8. Tuberculin test.
(3) Evaluation and feedback of students' health examination results.
After the physical examination, the student health examination unit shall evaluate the health status of individuals and groups, feed back the health evaluation results to students, schools and education administrative departments, analyze the main health problems of students, and put forward suggestions for improving students' health status and further examination.
(4) Qualification of student health examination institutions
1. Health care institutions with legal person status and the Practice License of Medical Institutions can undertake regular physical examinations for primary and secondary school students only after being filed by the education administrative department.
2. There are specialized preventive health examination departments and auxiliary functional facilities, and there are health examination places independent of the diagnosis and treatment area.
(5) Medical examination funds
The standard of health examination fee shall be determined by the relevant provincial departments. The cost of health examination for students in compulsory education is paid by the public funds of the school, and the cost of health examination for other students is formulated by the provincial government.
