There are many hazards of silica dust, the most important of which is silicosis, which is caused by long-term inhalation of dust containing free silica (SiO2). A large amount of dust with high content of free silica is inhaled into the lungs, which often cannot be completely removed from the respiratory tract in time. Extensive nodular fibrosis in the lungs seriously affects lung function and loses the ability to work.
Coal mining and dressing industry: rock roadway drilling, rock roadway blasting, rock roadway loading, gangue cart, shotcrete self-closing, rock roadway excavation, coal roadway drilling, coal roadway blasting, coal roadway reinforcement, coal mining transportation and underground ventilation; Oil and gas mining and mineral processing industries: slurry preparation and geological grinding; Mining and dressing of ferrous metal ore: black ore perforation, blasting, mechanical mining, loading, transportation, backfilling, support, mining assistance, crushing, screening, grinding, flotation, gravity separation, magnetic separation, mineral processing assistance, etc.
Silicosis:
It is one of the key occupational diseases that seriously endanger the health of workers in our province. Pulmonary function examination is the main basis for the identification of workers' labor ability and the evaluation of lung injury. The lung function test results of 7830 workers exposed to silica dust in the monitoring of key occupational diseases in Qinghai Province from 2065438 to 2007 were analyzed to understand the lung injury of workers exposed to silica dust and further prevent and control silicosis at an early stage.
Objective To extract and analyze the lung function data of 7830 workers exposed to silica dust in the monitoring of key occupational diseases in Qinghai Province in 20 17, including demographic data such as gender, age and length of service, and relevant information of workers' enterprises. Methods Occupational health examination data of workers exposed to silica dust were derived from "Occupational Disease and Occupational Health Information Monitoring System" and analyzed by Excel.
