How to evaluate the health of teeth by yourself?

Dental health standard

Prepared by the World Health Organization (WHO) at 198 1.

Dental health standards formulated by the World Health Organization;

1, tooth cleaning

2, no tooth decay

3. No pain

4. The gum color is normal

5, no bleeding phenomenon

According to statistics, less than 1% of the population in China has reached the standard of oral health. Dental health is an important sign of a person's health, and it also has an important impact on the overall health. Therefore, with the improvement of economic level and social civilization, it is urgent to change the concept of oral hygiene, strengthen oral health care, conduct regular oral examinations, treat problems in time, and achieve oral health standards.

Self-examination of dental and oral health;

1, whether there is blood on the bristles when brushing teeth and whether there is blood on the food when chewing, you can judge whether you have gingivitis;

2. Look in the mirror and see the health of your gums. If the gums are red and swollen with bleeding, gingivitis can be judged;

3, the teeth are loose to varying degrees, the roots are exposed or the gums are red, swollen and purulent, which can be judged as periodontitis;

4, the mouth has a big breath or bad breath, and it can be judged that there may be periodontitis;

5. Seeing cavities in the mirror indicates that the oral environment is not optimistic;

6. Dental calculus and dental stains can be clearly seen, indicating that there is a problem with oral cleaning.

7. Toothache may be a symptom of gingivitis, pulpitis or periodontitis.

8. There is a sore reaction to hot and cold food, indicating tooth allergy.

9. Cracks appear on the surface of teeth and lack luster, indicating that teeth begin to lose enamel and teeth begin to mineralize.

If you find that your oral teeth have the above symptoms of 1 ~ 3, it means that your oral cavity or teeth are in a sub-health state, so you should take preventive measures in time to prevent the oral health from deteriorating further; If there are 3 to 6 symptoms, your mouth and teeth are in an unhealthy state and must be treated as soon as possible; If there are 7 ~ 9 symptoms, it means that your oral teeth are in a very unhealthy state and must be treated effectively immediately.
