As for the political center of China, it has been made clear in all dynasties that it refers to Jizhou area, that is, the general scope of Zhili in Ming and Qing Dynasties, including today's northern Henan, western Shandong, western Liaoning, southern Inner Mongolia, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Shanxi. These places are the hometown of Jizhou, and the hometown of Zhili is outside Shanxi. This area almost covers the hometown of most emperors in China, and it is also the hometown of the most famous thinker and sage in history, which has a serious impact on nature. Otherwise, it will not be the first place in China, the place where the son of heaven often lives, the capital of emperors, also known as the hometown of emperors. Throughout history, the forces that originated in Guanzhong must first win this area, otherwise it will be difficult to win and stand firm, and the follow-up will almost be overthrown by this area. Guanzhong and Jizhou are really two places that love each other and kill each other.
"Those who win the Central Plains win the world" is an ancient national knowledge, which can be seen in the saying of "competing for the Central Plains" at the earliest. There is no barrier or depth in the Central Plains. How can it be the main battlefield of the past dynasties since the Yellow Emperor Chiyou? My personal opinion has two reasons: first, I robbed the imperial power and inherited the legitimacy and orthodoxy of civilization. With the Yellow River culture as the mainstream, the Chinese nation occupied the vast plains in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, and was able to live in the orthodox commanding heights and command the four princes. The second is to rob important grain production and storage areas. After all, there is food in the warehouse, so don't panic. The Central Plains region is rich in irrigation conditions and resources for species with climate characteristics, which is a vital economic foundation for countries with agriculture as the mainstay.
Half of the Seven Heroes in the Warring States Period were in the Central Plains, and Kaifeng, Luoyang, was always the first choice to build the capital after the establishment of the dynasty. No dynasty in history unified the world from the Central Plains, but no dynasty in history went to extinction without losing the Central Plains. The decline from Shang Dynasty to Jiang Dynasty just proves that those who get the Central Plains win the world, and those who lose the Central Plains lose the world. Does winning the world have anything to do with where to start fighting? Since Qin, the six countries have been conquered by Xirong, and since Han, Jianghuai has been conquered by Qin. Since Tang, Taiyuan, Song, Qiu Ming and Anhui Province; Since the Yuan and Qing Dynasties, they have come from the wild land of northern Xinjiang. But it doesn't mean anything. Only when they get the symbol of the dynasty in the Central Plains and can "occupy the Central Plains and conquer the world" can they speak the world.
In fact, winning the world in the Central Plains does not mean starting troops in the Central Plains, but choosing a place more suitable for development or a place chosen by emperors in the past for national unity and economic development. The Central Plains generally refers to places with China people, not separate areas. The Central Plains is an area centered on the present Henan Province, including Shanxi, Shaanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu and Hubei. If it is a powerful dynasty in history, it must be controlled. I don't see any dynasty that didn't control this area and became a big country. Like Wu and Shu in the Three Kingdoms period, they can only be partial. The Huaihai Campaign during the War of Liberation was in this area, as was the dispute between Chu and Han.
It is the result, not the beginning, that those who win the Central Plains win the world, which does not mean that they must strive for the world from the Central Plains. No matter from Guanzhong or Hebei, if the Central Plains is not occupied in the end, it will not be a unified China, nor will it be possible to command the world and reach all directions. Whether it is Qin, Han, Jin, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing, people still agree that they can represent China at that time, because they all occupied the Central Plains. Eastern Jin Dynasty, Southern Song Dynasty and other regimes occupying one side of the separatist regime are generally said to be extreme, not China orthodoxy.
