Ningnan county is located in the dry-hot valley of Jinsha River, which belongs to a typical subtropical monsoon climate, with the same season of rain and heat and a pleasant climate. There are two 4A scenic spots in the territory-Jinzhongshan and Cadillac in southern Ningxia.
