2. Health: Roy defines health as an individual's ability to achieve survival, growth, reproduction, autonomy and self-realization, and successful adaptation is regarded as a healthy state.
3. Environment: Environment is defined as the synthesis of all situations, things and influencing factors around and affecting the development and behavior of individuals or groups, including internal and external stimuli.
4. Theoretical framework: Roy's theoretical framework includes five parts: input (stimulus and individual adaptation level), control process/coping mechanism, adaptation mode/effector, output (adaptive response and ineffective response) and feedback.
5. Nursing practice: Roy's adaptation model is applied to clinical nursing practice to guide nurses to collect health data of clients more comprehensively, make correct nursing diagnosis, formulate scientific nursing plan and provide effective nursing.
