Is self-mutilation illegal?

Not illegal. Self-harm refers to people's physical and mental harm to themselves. Generally speaking, the damage to the spirit is hard to detect, so unless otherwise specified, self-harm only refers to the damage to the limbs. The most extreme case of self-harm is suicide. Legally, an act that damages one's rights cannot be regarded as an infringement. All illegal acts must be clearly stipulated by law. Self-mutilation is not illegal as long as it does not affect the legal rights of others. The threat defined by law must be a threat to the life and health of others, property or the safety of family members. If the actor's behavior only damages his own rights and does not pose a substantial threat to the rights of others, it cannot be defined as a legal threat.
