The origin of disease

In the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the origin of disease:

1. The most common source of disease in TCM theory. Six evils, including wind, cold, heat, dampness, dryness and fire, are necessary to maintain human life activities under normal circumstances, but if they are too intense or last too long, they may invade the human body and lead to diseases.

2. Seven emotions of internal injuries: Seven emotions refer to seven emotions of joy, anger, worry, thinking, sadness, fear and shock. In the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, excessive emotional fluctuation may also lead to diseases. For example, excessive anger may lead to stagnation of liver qi, leading to various liver diseases; Excessive anxiety may damage the spleen and lead to digestive system diseases.

3. Non-seasonal solar terms: Chinese medicine believes that human health is closely related to seasonal changes and climate changes. If you can't adapt to the changes in the natural environment, it may also cause diseases.

4. Unhealthy diet and overwork: Overeating or improper or overworking may lead to imbalance between Yin and Yang in the body, which may lead to diseases.

5. Congenital deficiency: This refers to the individual's physiological quality, including genetic factors. If the innate endowment is insufficient, it may make individuals more susceptible to certain diseases.

6. Invasion of pathogens: pathogens refer to all harmful factors that can lead to physiological dysfunction and diseases. The invasion of evil spirits can be external or internal.

In western medicine theory, the origin of disease:

1. Genetic factors: Some diseases are caused by gene mutation or genetic defects. Such as cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia and so on.

2. Environmental factors: including air and water pollution, radiation, chemical substance exposure, etc. These may increase the risk of illness.

3. Living habits: Bad living habits, such as smoking, drinking, high-fat diet and lack of exercise, may lead to various chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and obesity.

4. Infection: Infection by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and parasites is the cause of many diseases, such as influenza, pneumonia and AIDS.

5. Immune system problems: Abnormal immune system may lead to autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.

6. Physical and psychological stress: Long-term stress and tension will have a negative impact on the body, leading to various health problems, such as heart disease, high blood pressure and depression.

7. Other medical conditions: Some diseases are caused by other medical conditions, such as tumors and endocrine disorders.
