China's national standard stipulates the environmental protection standard of EU E 1, that is, the formaldehyde emission is ≤ 1.5mg/L, which is in line with the national standard. You can ask the operator to test the data, or you can put a nose to the door to smell it. If you smell a strong pungent smell of formaldehyde, it means that the concentration of formaldehyde in the air has exceeded the standard. At present, some excellent brands on the market can meet the E0 environmental protection standard of the European Union, that is, the formaldehyde emission is less than or equal to 0.5 mg/L, but most brands still can't meet the E0 standard, so consumers need to buy them.

First place: MDF
High-density board, also known as fiberboard or particleboard, is an artificial board made of wood, bamboo, straw, bagasse and other fibers glued with formaldehyde. It is the board with the highest formaldehyde content among all boards. High-density board is a good material for making furniture because of its soft texture, impact resistance and easy reprocessing, but its quality needs to be improved.
Second place: joinery board
Blockboard, also known as large core board, is made of two veneers glued together. The medium plate is made of high-quality natural plate, which is processed into strips with certain specifications after heat treatment (that is, drying in a drying room) and spliced by a splicing machine. Cover two layers of high-quality veneer on both sides of the spliced wood board, and then glue it with a cold and hot press. Blockboard can not be used alone, but must be equipped with veneer. In this case, the seven layers inside and outside and the six layers in the middle need to be coated with formaldehyde glue, and the formaldehyde content is also relatively high.

Third place: veneer
Veneer, also known as veneer, is made of "three-ply board +30-ply veneer", which is a kind of man-made board that uses formaldehyde glue to stick veneer or paper on thin density board or particleboard to decorate the surface of furniture. Using veneer can avoid the uneven surface of wooden door, and the overall effect is more beautiful.
Fourth place: solid wood finger joint board, formaldehyde-free glue.
Because the glue used in the production process of this solid wood finger joint board does not contain formaldehyde, there is no threat of formaldehyde exceeding the standard, and it is an ideal healthy and environmentally friendly board.
