What does rapid liquefaction of sperm mean?

Sperm is usually completely liquefied within 15-60 minutes. If the liquefaction time is less than 15 minutes, you should pay attention to the following points. 1, whether the injected semen is a dilute water sample. If the sperm itself is abnormal and contains a normal amount of sperm, only prostatic fluid or paraurethral fluid and other components, then the injected semen itself is in a thin liquefied state at this time, instead of normal semen being liquefied. In this case, it is suggested that the semen just ejaculated should be routinely examined to see if it contains normal amount of sperm and normal components. 2. If the ejaculated semen is normal and liquefied too fast, it may be because it contains too much fibrinolytic enzyme. Sperm may overflow because it liquefies too quickly and does not enter the vagina, which may make it difficult for patients to conceive. If too much fibrinolytic enzyme in semen leads to too fast liquefaction, prostate disease is usually considered. Because most of the fibrinolytic enzymes in semen come from prostate, it is suggested to further examine the composition of prostate and carry out symptomatic treatment.
