If you drive in shifts (not shifts), please take a moment to remember your wishes before getting on the bus and starting the car. I hope to keep a steady, relaxed and mindful state when driving, release pressure and stay away from haste. I know my direction before starting the car. The car is integrated with me. I drive fast and walk fast. This awareness can help you enjoy the whole journey. Think of every red light or stop sign as an opportunity to breathe with your heart and return to the present.
You may be used to seeing red lights as enemies and obstacles to achieving your goal of getting to work on time. However, in fact, the red light is our friend. It helps you resist haste and calls you back to the here and now. Next time you meet a traffic jam on the expressway or downtown, don't resist. Accept this reality, it's useless to resist.
Sit back in your seat and smile at yourself. Knowing that I am still alive, knowing that this moment is the only one in my life. Cherish every minute. Understand that this moment can be a wonderful time.
If you can drive in such a state of mind when commuting, without thinking about your destination and worrying about what to do when you get there, you can enjoy every minute of the driving process. I won't worry about what questions others will ask me and how I should answer before the lecture begins. On the contrary, when I walked from my residence to the lecture place, I completely enjoyed every step, every breath and every moment of deep walking. When I arrived, I felt clear-headed and ready to answer any questions that others might ask me. When you are preparing for work at home and on the way to work, if you have practiced mindfulness, you will be in a completely different state when you arrive at the workplace, and you will feel happier and more relaxed. You may find that you now have a new understanding of your work and colleagues, and you may also find an unexpected source of satisfaction and joy.
