Create a healthy workplace culture

In the workplace, there are many management methods to choose from, such as strict management, cordial management, incentive management and so on. Among them, strict management is regarded as one of the most effective management methods by many people. Because some people think that only with strong supervision when doing things can we ensure the efficiency and quality of work, and make employees behave better and obey the command and scheduling of managers.

But weighing the gains and losses of strict management, we find that this method also has some disadvantages. In this article, we will discuss from the following aspects whether the harder you work in the workplace, the better your colleagues will be.

First, establish a workplace culture of mutual respect.

A successful team must be based on mutual respect. If the superior exerts excessive pressure and coercion on the subordinates and colleagues, it will forcibly form an atmosphere of hostility and distrust, which will make the relationship between people tense. Non-cooperation and even contradictions among colleagues will further hinder the productivity of the team and master new skills. Therefore, mutual respect should be put in the first place in the process of establishing workplace culture.

Second, assign tasks to different employees reasonably.

If a manager always gives heavy and complicated tasks to those employees who can withstand pressure. But doing so for a long time will not only make these employees feel bored, but also make other more capable employees gradually lose motivation. In addition, giving these employees difficult tasks for a long time will make their learning opportunities very limited. For managers who assign posts, they should be able to make use of their own advantages and arrange work tasks according to their own expertise and ability.

Third, try to take the road of light management.

Thin management refers to a modern management strategy based on trust, respecting employees, giving subordinates autonomy and allowing employees to manage and develop themselves. The core of this management method is to believe that employees have the ability to deal with problems and manage themselves, and to establish a system of self-responsibility and self-management. Thin management will stimulate employees' participation consciousness and work enthusiasm, make employees fall in love with this job, and constantly improve their skills and abilities in their work, so as to achieve the dual goals of self-growth and efficient development of enterprises. Compared with the traditional strict management, thin management tends to encourage and motivate employees as the core goal, so that employees can solve their own problems in thought and management without being limited by external management factors.

Fourth, establish a transparent management system.

Transparent management means that enterprise managers must disclose the information they need to employees, so that employees can understand how problems arise and how to participate, and at the same time support employees to put forward suggestions to improve their posts and working environment. In this process, enterprises must be able to answer the questions raised by employees and persuade employees to participate in the process of perfecting the system and improving the working environment. In addition, compared with other management methods in the workplace, transparent management can also make employees more aware of the operation of the team and participate in the team more actively. Through the reform and construction of the workplace management system, we will create an environment that supports the development of employees' work and let employees make great progress.

To sum up, although strict management methods may make employees smarter in the short term, in the long-term development process, this method can not continuously promote the growth and improvement of employees. Any manager should consider the interests of employees and the progress of the team when choosing management methods, because only the smooth development of employees and teams can build a healthy and harmonious workplace environment.
