The main responsibilities are:

Fourth, organize the formulation and coordinated implementation of policies and measures corresponding to the aging population, and be responsible for promoting the construction of health service system for the elderly and the combination of medical care and nursing.
Fifth, be responsible for organizing the implementation of the national drug policy and the national essential drug system.
