Is there any taboo to hurt the muscles and bones?

As the saying goes, it hurts the bones for a hundred days. There is some truth in this sentence, because, for example, according to the location and severity of a fracture, it usually takes adults more than three months to recover. In this process, diet is very important for the recovery of fracture. Eating something you shouldn't eat at different stages of fracture recovery may delay the recovery time of the disease.

The process of fracture healing was interrupted. After being fixed by a professional doctor, you can go home and wait for recovery. Generally speaking, the sustained healing of fractures will go through three periods:

1, hematoma organizing stage

Hematoma is formed at the fracture site due to the rupture and bleeding of the blood vessels of the fracture itself and adjacent tissues. On the surface, it is rapid swelling, congestion and pain. The fracture began to coagulate into a blood clot containing reticular cellulose within 6~8 hours.

After 24 ~ 48 hours, the hematoma gradually subsided and callus began to form, which may last for about 1~2 weeks.

Cold compress can be applied within 24 hours, and hot compress can be applied after 24~48 hours.

Dietary suggestion: detumescence, removing blood stasis and relieving pain are the most important, and most drugs used at this stage have such effects. In terms of diet, besides the disease itself, we should also pay attention to the interaction between food and drugs.

At this time, you can't eat greasy and nourishing food too early, including bone soup, which will aggravate congestion and stagnation, but it is not conducive to swelling and pain relief.

Before fracture 1~2 weeks, the suitable food is usually diuresis to reduce swelling, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. For example, Chinese cabbage, wax gourd, celery, tomatoes and fungus; Hawthorn, grape, lemon; Bean products, lean meat, do not eat hot and sour food.

It's best to make a cabbage tofu soup, dried rice winter melon soup and celery yuba.

2. Primary callus formation period

Callus can be understood as the scab formed in the process of bone healing after injury (such as blood scab in the early stage of skin healing). This period of time is the process of partial absorption or elimination of blood stasis swelling, fracture end combination, chondrocyte proliferation and calcification, which takes about 4-8 weeks.

Dietary Suggestion: Adequate protein and calcium and phosphorus are particularly important during this period. In fact, bone soup contains little calcium, so it is better to drink milk, eat shrimp skin and sesame sauce to supplement calcium, so it is not suitable for bone soup at this stage. It is suggested to eat more vegetables rich in vitamin C, such as tomatoes, amaranth, green vegetables, cabbage and radish, to promote callus growth and wound healing.

At this stage, you usually can't exercise. According to your own situation, you can bask in the sun outdoors.

3. Callus transformation period

This stage belongs to the late stage of fracture. Osteoblasts continue to proliferate, and the new trabeculae gradually increase, and gradually arrange into regular and dense trabeculae, so that bone connection is formed at the fracture end. This period takes 8- 12 weeks, depending on the severity, and the longest need is 1~2 years. Finally, the trace of fracture disappeared from histology and radiology.

Dietary advice: it can remove taboos in diet. At this stage, don't be stingy with supplements. You can eat bone soup, chicken soup, chicken and so on. And it is recommended to eat together for more comprehensive nutrition. At this time, more vitamins A, D, calcium and protein can be added, which is very beneficial to the complete recovery in the later period. Therefore, bone soup can only be drunk in the late stage of fracture, which is relatively useful.

Need to avoid food

Patients with fractures need to be supplemented with necessary nutrition through diet. Reasonable diet can make patients recover faster, but on the contrary, it may lead to slower fracture healing. So what wrong eating habits and ways should fracture patients pay attention to?

1, avoiding excessive sugar intake in fracture is not conducive to the rehabilitation of fracture patients. Eating too much sugar will reduce the activity of nerves and muscles and affect the recovery of bone and muscle function. Moreover, trauma itself will lead to an increase in blood sugar, and then excessive intake of sugar will increase the burden on the body. Therefore, in the early stage of fracture recovery, we should try to eat less food with high sugar.

2, fractures avoid indigestible food.

Fracture patients often have limited activities, plus wound swelling and pain, loss of appetite, indigestion, constipation and so on. If you eat some indigestible foods such as sweet potatoes and glutinous rice at this time, it will aggravate your physical discomfort. Replacing it with something easy to digest and relax will get twice the result with half the effort.

3. Don't drink less water for fractures. Most patients with fractures are also inconvenient to move. I feel that we should drink less water to avoid going to the toilet all the time. In fact, this is wrong.

This should be in stages. If the edema is serious in the early stage of fracture, it is ok to maintain normal water volume or reduce water volume, but in the middle and late stage of fracture, it is still necessary to drink plenty of water to promote metabolism. Therefore, patients in the recovery period of fracture need to drink water if they want, so they don't need to worry too much.

Proper medication is necessary.

At different stages of fracture, medication is different.

Early stage of fracture (hematoma organizing stage): Drugs for promoting blood circulation and qi circulation, removing blood stasis and dredging collaterals, and relieving swelling and pain should be given, so as to make qi and blood meridians unblocked, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, and relieve swelling and pain.

Middle and late stage of fracture (callus formation and transformation period): The treatment should be mainly drugs that tonify qi and blood and strengthen bones and muscles, which can promote fracture healing.

Is amino sugar chondroitin useful after all? Friends often ask, is glucosamine chondroitin useful?

In fact, glucosamine chondroitin itself is the component matrix of articular cartilage, and it is also widely distributed in connective tissue, skin tissue and synovial fluid. Therefore, glucosamine chondroitin may effectively promote the synthesis of proteoglycan and collagen in articular cartilage and maintain the stability of cartilage extracellular matrix.

Clinical studies also show that aminoglycoside chondroitin has certain anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, but it is relatively weak for fracture patients. Early fracture still needs timely drug treatment, and such products can be used in conjunction with drug treatment.

Bone injury 100 days does not mean staying in bed 100 days.

The lack of standardized rehabilitation treatment in the early postoperative period of fracture patients can easily lead to complications such as limited joint activity, muscle atrophy, osteoporosis and deep vein thrombosis, which seriously affects the fracture healing and functional recovery of patients. On the contrary, if rehabilitation treatment is carried out in time after fracture surgery, complications can be prevented and reduced.
