Seafarers in cargo containers need the same documents as seafarers in bulk carriers, and they need seamen's service books, competency certificates and health certificates after passing the medical examination in hospitals designated by maritime agencies, which are the documents needed by seafarers on domestic offshore routes.
Seafarers' certificates, passports and internationally recognized health certificates are also required for the entry and exit of cargo container crew on international routes.
