Jiangxi Health Vocational College is a public full-time medical vocational college, which belongs to Jiangxi Health and Wellness Committee. Jiangxi Health School founded by 1955 and Nanchang Railway Health School founded by 1958 are both national key middle schools. In June 2004, with the approval of Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and the record of Ministry of Education, the two schools merged and upgraded to Jiangxi Vocational College of Nursing, and in April 201May, it was renamed Jiangxi Vocational College of Health. The college moved to the new campus of Xiaolan Economic Development Zone in Nanchang on June 20 12.
