The profound historical accumulation and high-level research strength have built a first-class construction platform for the undergraduate teaching of development and educational psychology. Since 1984, we have carried out the teaching reform of children's psychology, and it has been 26 years since then, and we have made remarkable achievements in teaching reform, excellent course construction, personnel training and discipline construction.
Professor Yang, the leader of the teaching team, has excellent political quality and profound academic attainments, and insists on teaching reform, which has a wide influence at home and abroad. She is the deputy director of the School Affairs Committee of our school, the leader of developmental and educational psychology, and the chief expert of Post-Doctoral Research Center. Psychologists recognized by Chinese Psychological Association (the first batch). Executive Director of Chinese Psychological Association, Deputy Director of the Professional Committee of Developmental Psychology of Chinese Psychological Association, Chairman of Liaoning Psychological Association, Director of Academic Committee, and Member of Psychology Teaching Steering Committee of Ministry of Education (200 1-2005). Since 1984, we have been teaching children's psychology, developmental psychology, educational research methods and psychological research methods to undergraduates continuously, and are determined to reform. After 26 years, the dual interactive teaching mode of developmental psychology classroom teaching and social practice activities has been established. She has been engaged in the research of "children's personality, social development and education" for many years, and thus constructed the personality development and education model of children in China, especially young children. At the 28th World Psychological Congress, she presided over a special lecture on "Research on Children's Personality Development". At the 29th World Psychological Congress, her disciple Professor Liu Wen presided over a special lecture on "Cross-cultural Research on Children's Creative Personality" and an oral report on "Children's Temperament and Personality", which was well received by the participating scholars, and the research on children's personality development and education was at the leading level in China.
Professor Yang has won the National Award for Famous Teachers in Teaching, the National Excellent Courses, the National Second Prize for Teaching Achievements, the National Second Prize for Excellent Textbooks in Colleges and Universities, the First National Second Prize for Excellent Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences Research, two first prizes for achievements in philosophy and social sciences awarded by the Liaoning Provincial Government, national model teachers and national model workers, and other honors and scientific research awards.
Professor Yang pays attention to training young scholars. She has brought out a United, harmonious and energetic psychological team, which is the most powerful psychological team in the three northeastern provinces. The teaching team has a team of teachers with high academic qualifications, high professional titles, strong academic ability, high teaching level, reasonable structure, vitality and innovative spirit.
Starting from the needs of teaching, scientific research and educational reform, the team consists of 9 people. The teaching reform of this teaching team has a profound historical origin, which has gone through five stages and achieved remarkable results. "Double interactive teaching mode of classroom teaching and social practice activities" is at the leading level in the national psychological circle. The Double Interactive Teaching Model of Child Psychology Classroom Teaching and Social Practice Activities won the special prize of Liaoning Province, the second prize of national teaching achievement, the second prize of national excellent teaching materials in colleges and universities, the national excellent course of developmental psychology and the national famous teacher award for the head of teaching team.
1984- 1989, in the initial exploration stage, put forward the idea of "four combinations" in teaching reform; 1989- 1992, in the experimental stage of teaching reform, two rounds of experiments in the field of education formed the "April 33" teaching mode; 1993- 1997, deepening the reform stage, initially forming a series of layered teaching materials, and establishing a dual interactive teaching mode of classroom teaching and social practice activities of children's psychology. During the period of 1998-2003, two rounds of on-the-spot education experiments were conducted in five colleges and universities, and a dual interactive teaching mode of "insisting on subjective education and implementing classroom teaching of children's psychological and social practice activities" was formed. A series of high-quality teaching materials have been published, including the teaching aid "Double Interactive Teaching Mode of Child Psychology", the special elective teaching material (scientific research) "Research methods and thesis writing of preschool education" and the special elective teaching material (personality sociality) "Children's social development and education", all of which were jointly compiled by the Normal Department of the Ministry of Education, Huang Xiting and Pei Di. From 2004 to 2008, we extended the development stage, reformed the teaching content, system and methods of lifelong developmental psychology, improved and formed a series of high-quality three-dimensional textbooks with hierarchical structure, published one of the series of textbooks for college psychology majors, Lifelong Developmental Psychology and a special elective textbook (Children's Personality Development and Education), formulated an electronic teaching aid CD for developmental psychology teaching guidance, and improved online teaching. From 2009 to now, in the stage of national excellent course construction, the national excellent course construction of developmental psychology has been comprehensively improved.
Our teaching reform has been praised by well-known experts at home and abroad. On the basis of double interactive teaching, we carried out the implementation and expansion of the principle of "example teaching", explored research-oriented courses, and built a platform for transforming scientific research advantages into teaching advantages. In-depth and solid teaching reform will certainly improve the teaching quality and promote the comprehensive quality development of college students' innovative ability and practical ability. In recent five years, the team has published 163 papers in national core journals, with per capita 18 papers; 66 scientific research projects, 7 per capita, with a total funding of 3.388 million yuan and a per capita funding of 376,000 yuan; Published 20 monographs, 3 per capita; There are 47 scientific research awards, with about 5 per capita.
The teaching team relies on the research center of psychological development and education and the key disciplines of psychological development and education, in which the total area of key laboratories in universities in Liaoning Province is 1.600 square meters, and the total value of experimental instruments is 8.24 million yuan. The double interactive teaching mode has played a substantial role in promoting the teaching reform in the field of psychology in the College of Education of Liaoning Normal University, Liaoning Normal University and even the whole country. The published series of high-quality textbooks have been used by dozens of universities in China. The research in lifelong development psychology has been widely adopted by many units at home and abroad, such as the Personality Structure of Primary School Students adopted by Dalian Education Bureau. When Dalian Education Bureau established the online guidance system of primary and secondary school students' personality files, it was based on the theory of primary school students' personality structure obtained by our research. Its achievements have benefited nearly 50,000 primary school students in Dalian, which has a great influence throughout the country. CCTV International Department reported it, and it was reported at the national training meeting on personality file construction, which won unanimous praise. The research results of self-delayed gratification were introduced by CCTV 1 Channel's Discovery Tour, which had a great influence.
