In order to thoroughly implement the Ministry of Education's "Guidelines for Mental Health Education in Primary and Secondary Schools (Revised 20 12)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Outline") and earnestly do a good job in mental health education in primary and secondary schools in our province, we hereby put forward the following opinions:
First, seriously study the "Outline" to further improve the understanding of the importance of mental health education in primary and secondary schools.
Mental health education in primary and secondary schools is an education to improve the psychological quality of primary and secondary school students, promote their physical and mental health and harmonious development, and is an important part of comprehensively promoting quality education. Strengthening and improving mental health education in primary and secondary schools is an inevitable requirement for thoroughly implementing the spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress under the new situation, an important measure for comprehensively implementing the national and provincial medium-and long-term education plan, and is of great significance for promoting the healthy growth of primary and secondary school students, cultivating high-quality talents with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty, and implementing the fundamental task of educating people. Education administrative departments at all levels and primary and secondary schools should fully understand the importance of strengthening mental health education in primary and secondary schools, seriously study the spirit of the Outline, implement the requirements of the Outline, put it in a prominent position in education, take effective measures, and earnestly grasp it.
Two, according to local conditions, multi-channel mental health education.
1. Schools should run mental health education through the whole process of education and teaching. All teachers should consciously follow the laws of mental health education in the teaching of various subjects, and organically infiltrate the contents of mental health education suitable for students' characteristics into daily education and teaching activities. Pay attention to teachers' personality charm and role, and establish a democratic, equal and respectful relationship between teachers and students. Combine mental health education with class teacher's work, class team activities, campus cultural and sports activities and social practice activities. And make full use of campus radio, internet, blackboard newspaper and other forms to carry out mental health education.
2. Open a good mental health education class. Mental health education is an important way to carry out mental health education for students. From the fall of 20 13, schools should include mental health education as a compulsory course in the curriculum plan, and the required class hours should be arranged in the local curriculum or school curriculum as a whole. Every grade in primary school shall have no less than 12 class hours per academic year, and every grade in middle school shall have no less than 14 class hours per academic year. Mental health education courses should focus on activities, including group counseling, psychological training, situation design, problem analysis, role-playing, game counseling, psychological sitcoms, special lectures and so on. , integrating knowledge, interest, participation and operability, can really improve students' anti-frustration ability and self-psychological adjustment ability, and effectively reduce students' psychological obstacles and other psychological problems.
3. Actively carry out psychological counseling. Psychological counseling is a psychological counseling activity carried out by mental health education teachers for individuals or student groups. It aims to help students solve problems in study, life and growth, and solve psychological problems. Psychological consultation is a scientific and professional work. Psychological counseling should follow the laws of students' psychological development and education, abide by professional ethics and moral norms, and be carried out on the basis of students' informed willingness. Strictly abide by the principle of confidentiality and protect students' privacy. In the process of psychological counseling or consultation, psychological test scale or other testing means should be used cautiously, and students should not be forced to accept psychological tests. Schools should strengthen the management of psychological counseling rooms, establish and improve rules and regulations, establish psychological files and set up psychological hotlines.
4. Carry out mental health education through parents. Schools should strengthen contact and communication with parents and jointly implement mental health education with parents. Through the establishment of parents' schools and special lectures, we can guide and help parents to establish correct educational concepts, popularize the knowledge of mental health education to parents through different channels, actively publicize the importance of mental health in human development, provide guidance for parents to promote the healthy development of their children, and help parents solve various psychological and behavioral problems in their children's development.
5. Make full use of off-campus educational resources to carry out mental health education. Schools should strengthen contact and cooperation with young people's off-campus activity places, students' comprehensive practice bases, public cultural institutions, grass-roots mass autonomous organizations, enterprises and institutions, and street communities, organize various mental quality expansion activities and recreational activities that are beneficial to the physical and mental health of primary and secondary school students, make full use of positive life materials in social reality, carry out students' mental health education, realize the sharing of mental health education resources, and broaden the channels of mental health education.
