The development of history
In the fifth year of Emperor Gaozu (202 BC), the county was established. Because it is located in the south of Zhang Yu County, it is called Cheng Nan, which is one of the earliest eighteen ancient counties in the county. It is the seat of military, road and government administration in past dynasties.
In the third year of the Northern Song Dynasty (978), the Jianchang Army was established to take charge of Cheng Nan. In the second year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1369), Jianchang House was established and lasted until the end of the Qing Dynasty. In the eighth year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1495), Duan Yiwang and Zhu Youbin were appointed as the prefect of Nancheng. In 2 1 (1932), Cheng Nan was established by the Commissioner's Office of the Eighth Administrative Supervision District of Jiangxi Province, and it was changed to the seventh administrative region in 24 years. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Cheng Nan successively belonged to Fuzhou area (region) and Fuzhou city.
