Wuhan Femtosecond or Full Femtosecond?

The differences between full femtosecond laser surgery and semi-femtosecond laser surgery mainly include the following points:

1, laser type: Full femtosecond laser was used in the whole operation. Semi-femtosecond laser actually uses two kinds of lasers, one is femtosecond laser and the other is excimer laser.

2. Operation mode: Full femtosecond laser is to use femtosecond laser to grind the lens on the corneal stroma layer, and take out the lens through an incision of about 2mm, so that the cornea can reach an ideal refractive correction state. Semi-femtosecond laser is to make a corneal flap with femtosecond laser, then cut the lens under the corneal flap with excimer laser to make the cornea reach a suitable refractive state, and then reset the corneal flap to correct myopia.

At present, it is generally believed that full femtosecond laser surgery is safer than semi-femtosecond laser surgery, and the surgical effect is better.
