The employing unit shall regularly train employees on occupational safety and health knowledge before and during their posts, so that they can understand and abide by the laws, regulations, rules and operating procedures for occupational disease prevention and control, correctly use and maintain protective equipment and personal protective equipment, and understand the occupational health rights enjoyed by employees according to law.
Second, the occupational health examination.
Health examination should include pre-employment health examination, regular health examination of employees exposed to harmful factors and post-employment health examination. When the employing unit is divided, dissolved or bankrupt, it shall also carry out health examination on the workers exposed to occupational hazards. The inspection items and cycles shall be implemented according to the categories of occupational hazard factors exposed and the occupational health inspection items and cycles specified by the state.
Three. Occupational health monitoring information management.
A perfect occupational health monitoring information management system is conducive to the early detection of patients with medical contraindications and suspected occupational diseases, and is of great significance to protecting the health of employees.
The responsibilities of the employer's occupational health supervision:
The employer is the main body responsible for occupational health monitoring, and its main person in charge is fully responsible for the occupational health monitoring work of the unit. The employing unit shall organize workers to carry out occupational health examination and bear the expenses for occupational health examination. Workers receiving occupational health examination should be regarded as normal attendance.
The employing unit shall choose the medical and health institutions approved by the health administrative department of the people's government at or above the provincial level to undertake the occupational health examination, and ensure the authenticity of the identity of the workers participating in the occupational health examination. When an employer entrusts an occupational health examination institution to conduct occupational health examination on workers engaged in operations exposed to occupational hazards, it shall truthfully provide documents and materials.
The employing unit shall not arrange for workers who have not undergone occupational health examination before taking up their posts to engage in operations that are exposed to occupational hazards, nor shall it arrange for workers with occupational taboos to engage in operations that are taboo. The employing unit shall not arrange underage workers to engage in operations that are exposed to occupational hazards, and shall not arrange female workers during pregnancy or lactation to engage in operations that are harmful to themselves, the fetus and the baby.
