Mental health status of students in Putuo No.2 Middle School
In view of the psychological problems of junior high school students caused by various uncertain factors in the current social transformation period, the school took the lead in carrying out the whole school mental health education activities on 1998, taking mental health education as the basis for comprehensively improving students' quality. A trinity mental health education network of school, family and society has been established, and psychological consultation rooms, teacher-student chat rooms, intimate sister hotlines and psychological consultation mailboxes have been set up to solve students' psychological problems. According to the characteristics of the subject and the actual situation of the school, the school has formulated the Guiding Opinions on the Infiltration of Mental Health Education into Subjects, which regards the infiltration of mental health education into classroom teaching as the main channel of mental health education, and helps students solve practical psychological problems by using the contents of teaching materials and classroom scenarios. The school also adopts the combination of self-guidance, counseling and mutual guidance to carry out mental health education activities by means of special lectures, heart-to-heart talks and corrective treatment. The school's mental health education activities have been welcomed by students, parents and society.
