Shanghai Medical University &; Health Sciences), referred to as "Shangjian Medical", is located in Shanghai, China. It is a municipal undergraduate medical college, selected into the leading plan of first-class undergraduate construction in Shanghai universities, and is a civilized unit in Shanghai and a safe demonstration unit in Shanghai.
20 15 School was formed by the merger of Shanghai Medical College, Shanghai Medical Device College and Shanghai Health Vocational and Technical College. Shanghai Medical College, formerly known as School of Health Technology of Shanghai Second Medical University, was established in 1999. Shanghai Institute of Medical Devices was founded by the Ministry of Health,1960; Shanghai Health Vocational and Technical College, formerly known as Shanghai Staff Medical College, was established in 1950.
According to the school official website in April 2020, Shangjian College has three campuses, namely Beiyuan, Nanyuan and Xinnanyuan, with more than 0.5 million students, offering 6 undergraduate majors and 27 specialist majors. As of September, 20 18, there are 3 graduate students jointly trained with Shanghai University of Science and Technology and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including 77 doctoral students.
2. Merger and upgrade
2065438+On May 22nd, 2005, Shanghai Medical College was formed by the merger of Shanghai Medical College, Shanghai Medical Device College and Shanghai Health Vocational and Technical College. At the same time, Shanghai Health Medical College was formed by the merger of Shanghai Jiaotong University Medical College and Shanghai Health School.
In June, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission and the Pudong New Area People's Government signed an agreement to jointly build the Shanghai Health Medical College. Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Shanghai University of Science and Technology and College signed cooperation framework agreements respectively; Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital (East Hospital), Jiading District Central Hospital, Pudong New Area Zhou Pu Hospital, Pudong New Area People's Hospital and College respectively signed agreements on the establishment of affiliated hospitals.
