What's the harm of eating fast food often?

Eating junk food for a week in a row

Although everyone has always said that fast food is unhealthy, it seems that we don't have any profound experience after eating it, so a 24-year-old girl in Britain, Phoebe Jackson-Edwards, decided to do an experiment with her body, that is, challenge to eat fast food all week!

Before starting the challenge, the girl went to the clinic to do a series of tests, evaluated her skin and measured her body fat content. Ultrasound showed that the overall body fat percentage of her arms, hips and thighs was 23%, which was within the normal range of her age. All skin conditions are healthy and fully meet the standard of 24 years old.

At 7: 30 a.m. on 1 day, she ate a bacon burger.

Then, she had lunch: hamburgers, French fries and a coke.

At dinner, I ate fried chicken and French fries.

The next day, I had sausage and egg sandwiches for breakfast, hamburgers for lunch and roast mutton for dinner!

Eat hamburgers in the morning on the third day, order fried chicken hamburger set meal with coke at noon, and eat English fish sticks and pea sauce at night! In order to finish the task smoothly, she tried to eat different meals.

On the fourth day, she ate sausage, egg, hamburger and coke, and fried chicken with mushroom sauce in the evening.

On the fifth day, she didn't think fast food was for convenience at all. She mechanically stuffed the junk food into her mouth. Sandwich set meal, steak, mushroom and ham pizza.

At this time, the contrast between her forehead and the front of her forehead skin (left) and the current skin condition (right) is terrible, and her eyes are oily.

On the sixth day, the girl's mood was very, very low. I have no desire to eat meat at all, but I want to eat some vegetables and fruits, but in order to continue the challenge, the experiment must continue. I had sausage sandwiches, chicken rolls and pizza on Saturday.

Physical changes after a week.

On the last day, she felt that she was not herself. Many changes have taken place in the body:

1. Sleep: She found that even after a long sleep, she was still sleepy and weak the next day!

2. Emotion: At work, she became more and more impatient and really began to be afraid of eating.

3. Skin: She said that her skin is greasy and her hair should be washed several times.

4. Body fat: When she returned to the clinic for examination, her body fat had increased from 23% to 25%, the thigh fat content had increased from 6. 1% to1.8%, and the skin moisture content had decreased by 27%. ...

All the changes took place in these short seven days. The doctor said: junk food is difficult to digest in the body and takes a long time, which will affect the absorption of other nutrients and affect the mood of the human body. Eating junk food once may take eight times as long to recover, which means it will take Phoebe two months to recover to her previous appearance and physical state.

Six Harms of Eating Fast Food Frequently

Fast food is our common food, but if we use it for a long time, it may cause the following problems.

1. leads to obesity

From June 5438 to October 2003 10, the British magazine "New Scientist" reported that fast food would cause hormonal changes in the body and make people addicted. Scientists point out that fast food such as hamburgers, fried foods and single foods can cause changes in hormones in the body, making it difficult for people to control their food intake. Relevant research in the United States also shows that eating fast food often leads to high protein, high calories and high fat in the body, which will make people fat.

2. Lead to "rich disease"

Adolescent obesity leads to abnormal lipid and glucose metabolism, which increases blood lipid, blood sugar and blood pressure, and makes adolescents susceptible to metabolic syndrome commonly known as "rich disease" such as hypertension and diabetes. Although some people did not get sick when they were young, they buried hidden dangers of hypertension, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes and other diseases in the future.

3. Affect fertility

A study published by the BBC shows that women often eat fast food, and lack of fruit intake is more likely to get pregnant. The survey of 5,598 women found that women who eat fast food four or more times a week are pregnant for one month longer than women who never or rarely eat fast food.

4. Induce cancer

The World Health Organization found that hamburgers, French fries, barbecues, fried chicken and biscuits contain a lot of acrylamide (products cooked at high temperature), and the acrylamide content of French fries exceeds the standard by about 100 times. Acrylamide can cause gene mutation, damage the central and peripheral nervous system, and induce tumors.

5. Early development

Fat is closely related to the secretion of female hormones. Eating too much foreign fast food will advance the menarche of girls, stimulate boys to grow feminine breasts and develop their bone age in advance. In the long run, eating foreign fast food often will also affect male fertility.

Disease and health are our own choices.

/kloc-William Si Tong, an English poet in the 0/8th century, said that health is beauty.

People are the most beautiful in the most perfect state of health. Whoever can have health can become beautiful and radiant. I understand this truth because I put the vital health law into practice.
