The Environmental Protection Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that the state shall establish and improve the system of environmental and health monitoring and investigation. According to this law, the state establishes and improves the system of environmental and health monitoring, investigation and risk assessment, encourages and organizes research on the impact of environmental quality on public health, and takes measures to prevent and control diseases related to environmental pollution.
