Everyone has a blood type, and there are many blood types. The most common blood types are type A, type B, type O and type ab. Ab blood type is a special blood type, also known as noble blood type, which is slightly different from other blood types in personality and health. Because there are antigens A and B on the surface of red blood cells of ab blood, there are no antibodies A and B in plasma. So ab blood is the universal recipient. However, ab blood cannot be transfused to O blood, nor to A and B blood. Moreover, ab blood is the rarest of the four blood types, accounting for less than 9% in the world and only about 7% in China.
Type ab blood group is often a special case, in which type ab is the universal recipient, because such people are born special, and their serum does not contain anti-A and anti-B lectins. In addition, under normal circumstances, blood transfusion should be based on the principle of blood transfusion with the same blood type, but people with ab type can accept any blood type.
People with ab blood type have both characteristics of type A and type B, so they are prone to heart disease, alcoholism, pneumonia and urethritis. Even so, the immune function and adaptability to the environment of ab people are still the best among the four blood types. There is no need to limit the usual diet, but it should be vegetarian.
