Health education diagnosis refers to the process of collecting all kinds of relevant facts through systematic investigation and measurement, and analyzing, inducing, reasoning and judging these materials created by the medical education network, so as to determine or speculate the behavior and behavior influencing factors related to this health problem, and obtain health education resources, thus providing basic basis for determining the intervention objectives, strategies and measures of health education.

Second, the basic steps of health education diagnosis

According to Green's model, the diagnosis of health education mainly includes six aspects: society, epidemiology, behavior, environment, education, management and policy.

Social diagnosis

Social diagnosis is the concrete embodiment of bio-psychological-social medical model. The main purpose of social diagnosis is to understand the correlation between social problems and health problems by analyzing a wide range of social problems, and its key contents include social environment and quality of life.

1. Social environment: including economy, culture, health services, social policies, community resources and other aspects and their historical situation.

(1) Economic indicators-per capita gross national product, per capita annual income level, per capita housing area, per capita green space, etc.

(2) Cultural indicators-enrollment rate, illiteracy rate, customs, etc.

(3) Health service indicators-distribution and personnel composition of medical and health service institutions.

(4) Social policy-formulating and implementing health regulations and policies.

(5) Community resources mainly refer to the resources that can be used for health education and health promotion, such as the professional composition and equipment conditions of health education institutions. China Distance Education Holding Co., Ltd.

2. Quality of life: Indicators for measuring quality of life include subjective indicators and objective indicators.

(1) Subjective indicators include the feeling of life satisfaction of the target population;

(2) The objective indicators include the material, economic, cultural and disease conditions of the living environment of the target population.

(2) Epidemiological diagnosis

The main task of epidemiological diagnosis is to objectively determine the main health problems of the target population and the behavioral and environmental factors that cause health problems. Epidemiological diagnosis should describe the incidence, frequency and intensity of physical health problems, mental health problems, social health problems and corresponding risk factors, so as to determine the relative importance of health problems and reveal the law of health problems changing with environmental factors such as age, gender, race, lifestyle and housing conditions. Especially the information obtained by studying the occurrence, distribution, intensity and frequency of health-related behavioral risk factors is often the focus of health education and health promotion projects. In short, the original diagnostic epidemiology medical education network will eventually answer the following five questions:

1. Diseases or health that threaten the life and health of the target population.
