How to live after retirement? Do three points, the retirement life must be comfortable and wonderful

My former colleagues always ask me what I do every day after retirement. This is the most since the retirement of the "question and answer". The subtext of this greeting may be: retired people, there is nothing to do, every day should feel boredom, loneliness and emptiness, right?

Honestly, this is not the case. Every day of my retirement is busy but not chaotic, always feel that the time has become shorter, the days go by too fast.

In the morning, I get up and listen to a book while washing up and making breakfast. After breakfast, I go to the community health center to steam moxa for 1 hour, then go to the yoga studio to practice yoga for 1 hour, then I go to the market to buy groceries, then go home to read for a while, then I start to cook around 11:00 a.m., then I watch the news after lunch and take a nap.

In the afternoon, I read and write headlines, and then go for a 1-hour walk along the Xiangjiang River around 4:30pm. Dinner is simple, catch up on TV shows after the evening news, and go to bed around 11pm.

Just now, I joined a group of square dance activities in my neighborhood, and all the members are my neighbors. Every morning from 8 am to 9 am, a retired dance teacher to teach everyone to dance.

Last year, I began to participate in the singing class to learn, this semester because of the epidemic stopped the class. The first time I saw this was when I was a student at the University of California at Berkeley.

So, this retirement life is really getting busier and busier.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen this before, but I'm sure I've seen it before, and I'm sure I've seen it before.

And, compared to when I was at work, I can cook in a timely manner, and my home has never been so clean and tidy, and my mind has never been so calm and determined.

Nowadays, people's life expectancy is getting longer and longer, and if they live to be more than 80 years old, then they still have more than 25 years to live. 25 years is not a long time, but for the elderly, if the quality of their life is not high, 25 years will be very difficult to survive.

So a good or bad retirement life determines whether a third of life is happy or not.

How to live after retirement? Do the following three points, the retirement life must be free and wonderful.

First, get busy. The first is to keep busy, do what you like, learn what you want to learn, go where you want to go, and make the friends you want to make. The water does not rot, the door is not worm-eaten. Once a person is busy, it is like a machine running, always full of vigor. The mind will not age, the mind will not rust, the spirit will not slacken, the heart will not be empty.

Second, look down. Water, the lighter the clearer; people, the lighter the happier. The more you look down, the less you compare, the less you care about the loss, the more you look down, the less you are afraid of the old age. Put down all the past, put down the mind, focus on inner nourishment.

Third, health. The second half of life, health is the greatest wealth. Retirement life centered on physical health, focusing on exercise, diet, health care, try to slow down the aging process, and strive for a dignified life, quality.
