When has Mifei been to Guilin? A self-portrait was carved at the foot of Fubo Mountain.

Mi Fei visited Guilin on 1074. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Guilin was called Lingui County, and Mi Fei was appointed Lingui County Magistrate. In the eighth year of Jiading in the Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 12 15), Guangxi transferred an official verdict to engrave "Mi Fei's self-portrait" beside the monument of "Mi Fei Zhu Huan Cave Inscription" in memory of this outstanding artist. Today, three stone carvings carved on the rocks in Long Yin, namely Cheng Jieshi of Mi Fei, Minogue and self-portrait of Zhu Huan Cave in Mi Fei, have become precious historical materials for studying Mi Fei and its relationship with Guilin.
