1, standing posture, palms gently closed, fingers together, elbows naturally bent, about 45 degrees on your chest. When crossing your hands, your eyes droop, and looking at the fingertips of your palm can unite your mind and eliminate delusions. Stand in front of the futon with your feet in a figure of eight, with the distance between your left and right heels about two inches and your toes about eight inches.
2. Put the palm of your right hand down, press it in the center of the futon, keep the palm of your left hand still, cross your knees and kneel on the futon.
3. The left palm is pressed on the left side in front of the futon.
4. Move the palm of your right hand from the middle to the right in front of the futon. The palms are six inches apart, and your head is pressed on the futon between them.
5. The palms are outward and the palms are upward, indicating that the hands hold the Buddha's feet and the head and face are connected.
6. Hands and fingers, in turn, are still pressed in the original place of the futon. Lift your head from the futon and move your right palm in the center of the futon.
7. The left palm is separated from the futon, placed on the chest like a palm crossing, and the right palm is propped up hard for worship.
Matters needing attention
When you worship Buddha, you should bow down slowly and stand up slowly. Every movement is very clear and natural, slow, relaxed and soft. You should experience every movement and feeling of the movement easily and slowly, and don't make the action of worshipping Buddha urgent and nervous. Otherwise, if you worship too fast, you will be flustered, busy, anxious and chaotic, but you will lose your peace and stability.
When you worship Buddha, your forehead touches the ground, your back stays straight, your body is soft, and even the ground you touch is soft and cool. After the worship, experience your two palms with your own heart. After standing up, experience the movements and feelings of your hands and feet. Feel your own experience, feel your own feelings, feel every subtle part.
