From April to May, 2010, Liyang City will hold the 11th China Liyang Tea Festival and the 6th Tianmu Lake Tourism Festival. "On April 28, in conjunction with the opening of the two festivals, a large-scale scenario song and dance party "Landscape Tea Song" will be launched.
The Tea Festival is a traditional major festival in Liyang; this year is the 20th anniversary of Liyang withdrawing its county and setting up a city; and when the Shanghai World Expo is held, Tianmu Lake is included in the World Expo Experience Tour.
In order to make the festival better serve the economic and social development of Liyang, the city sees the "two festivals" as an important carrier of Liyang's economic and cultural business card, and an important platform for attracting investments to ensure that the city's actual foreign investment at the end of May completes 60% of the year's tasks, and foreign investment registered in the industrial and commercial register completes 65% of the year's tasks.
