Request: a line from the TV series "Jade Goddess of Mercy" by Tong Dawei.

The coldness of Thanh Myan train station at night was palpable, and I sat alone in one of the benches on the platform, patiently

waiting for the train that arrived at midnight for Nande. Apart from me, there seemed to be only a few dim street

lights on the platform that counted for a little bit of life, and then a sky full of stars visible when I looked up.

In the dull silence of waiting for the sound of the railroad tracks, I gazed at the stars and searched for any

memory that had anything to do with peace of mind. Each impressive event unfolded in turn under the dark canopy of the night, from the first acquaintance at the Road Fist Dojo to the kiss at the station in the rain, from the lamp in the living room of my house to the after-drinks at the restaurant of Jialing Ge, many details that were plain and ordinary at the time, but could be emotionally stirring in the recollections.

These are the details of the past that I remembered.

In reminiscing I never omit the water festival where we met in Wuquan - that cheerful

fast and lively water festival, that thrilling water festival.

At the water festival, I saw Mao Jie!

When An Xin told me that she saw Mao Jie, I thought she was a little crazy.

By then, I had already walked up to the base of the tower with

an empty basin in my hand, and when I looked up, there was no one on the wide steps of the Manong Fries Tower.

We walked together toward the back of the tower, and amidst the splendor of the golden seat and silver body, there was no Mauje, save for one or two groups of young girls

who were splashing water behind the tower.

I saw that around the stupa, in the square in front of the temple, deep in the village as far as the eye could see, people were still singing and dancing,

chasing and playing. The water mist in the air is scattered by the sun shine through, falling is a piece of peace and prosperity, the world no

worry about the scene.
