I have a different view on how to treat individual phenomena as universal phenomena. In my opinion, the vast majority of old people are full of confidence in life, including me. In order to enrich their lives, the elderly have various group activities, some dance in the square, some go to colleges for the elderly to learn various skills training, and some organize short-distance travel. In short, they are full of confidence in life.
Educated people write memoirs. A few years ago I met a city cultural worker and I asked him, what are you doing now? He said that he was writing his own memoirs and occasionally voluntarily composed music for amateur groups.
There are also some organized charity activities. One of my relatives organized a charity group to collect clothes that others do not wear, package them and send them to remote areas with lower living standards. This organization consists of retired people from various industries, including doctors, teachers, barbers, electrical technicians, etc., who also take to the streets to serve the masses on a regular basis.
I myself also joined a group of rural sages, writing about local customs, historical figures, geographical scenery, etc. in my hometown. In this group, I got to know people with different expertise, including teachers, professors, actors, National People's Congress representatives, and entrepreneurs. There are also people who have retired from government agencies, including police officers, judges, and civil servants. Our work is very fulfilling and busy. We plan to publish two books, and the first sample book has been finalized.
The second sample book will be typeset soon. At the suggestion of the National People's Congress deputies, we plan to select a site to build a rural community, arrange old local objects, and make a large sand table. These tasks will be implemented by each member.
Please take a look, whether the sunset is brilliant or not, how can you talk about eating in vain, waiting to eat, and wasting your life!
