On December 10th, 1935, the Beiping Students' Federation organized a general strike to prepare for a larger struggle, and on December 16th, more than 10,000 students, citizens and people from all walks of life in Beiping once again held a loud and powerful demonstration. The demonstration of Beiping students, citizens and people from all walks of life received support and assistance from all over the country. Demonstrations were held in Nanjing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Hangzhou and other places one after another. The Tianjin students formed a propaganda group and headed to Nanjing, the capital of the country at that time. The anti-Japanese student movement swept across the Chinese land and formed a new climax of the anti-Japanese democratic movement of the whole country, with the support of the whole country, all parties and people from all walks of life. It promoted the establishment of the anti-Japanese national united front and set off the prelude to the great war of the Chinese nation against the Japanese invaders.
